We have an exciting opportunity — and we need your help to make it happen.

Brandy (Interim Director) and Laura (Director of Transport) have the chance to attend the HSUS/HWA Animal Expo in Pittsburgh this April — one of the most impactful conferences in the country for animal welfare professionals.

The total cost to send them is approximately $1,850.

Albany Humane Society is committed to continuing our team’s education so they can more effectively and efficiently run our shelter and serve the thousands of animals who need our help each and every year. Attending Expo is an investment in better systems, stronger partnerships, and more lifesaving outcomes for our community.

Brandy oversees shelter operations and staff — everything from daily care to long-term strategy.

Laura manages our transports to rescue partners and creates the photos and composites that help animals get seen and saved.
