According to data from The Food Group in partnership with the MN DCYF, Minnesotans made more than 9,026,842 visits to food shelves in 2025, setting another record and marking the fourth consecutive year of historic demand. This was approximately 2.5 times higher than pre-pandemic levels in 2019, driven by rising food costs and reductions in federal SNAP benefits.
