Detective Sergeant Eric Wise was a dedicated public servant and family man leaves behind a legacy of unwavering commitment to justice and family. Eric’s work as a Detective Sergeant was marked by his professionalism, integrity, and a passion for making a difference in his community. Throughout his career in law enforcement Eric earned the respect of colleagues and the admiration of those he served.

In his honor, the Wise family has established the Eric Wise Memorial Fund, powered by Families Behind the Badge Children’s Foundation. After receiving an Immediate Grant following Eric’s tragic passing, the family is now turning their gratitude into action—continuing Eric’s legacy by supporting other families.

Proceeds from the event will benefit Sergeant Christian Ivanov of the Atlantic City Police Department, who was critically injured after being shot in the line of duty while serving and protecting the community to which he has dedicated his life.
