For the Love of Orphans was born out of a deep desire to bring hope and healing to vulnerable children in Zambia. What began in 2015 as a small act of obedience has grown into a life-changing ministry—providing education, daily meals, spiritual care, and the love of a family to over 80 children who had none.

Each child has a story—many filled with loss, abandonment, and hardship. But through this ministry, those stories are being rewritten. Children who once struggled to survive are now thriving, dreaming, and building bright futures. Today, 12 of those children are attending college—a reality we never imagined in the early days.

At the heart of this mission is Megan Elmore, a passionate Argyle resident, who first moved to Zambia to live among the children she felt called to serve. As the Founder and Executive Director, Megan has led with faith and compassion—spending six years on the ground building the orphan care center and continuing to travel regularly between Texas and Zambia to ensure each child is known, loved, and given every opportunity to succeed.

Now, we’re raising funds to continue supporting these and 2026 college students and to build three new classrooms—because more children are coming, and they deserve the same chance at a transformed future.
