One mother recently told us her son truly believes Dolly Parton is his aunt. Every month when a new book arrives, he runs to the mailbox and shouts, “Look! Another book from Aunt Dolly!” For him, reading is not a chore. It is magic, excitement, and love wrapped in a bright envelope.

We also love the story of Kamdyn, a fourth grade student at Sylvan Elementary. Kamdyn received books from the Imagination Library for five years, and those early experiences built a strong foundation for his reading journey. Today, he is thriving. Kamdyn earned the highest grade in the entire state of North Carolina on the Literacy Essentials test. His success is a powerful example of what happens when children grow up surrounded by books.
