Evening of Dreams: Empowering Education, Changing Lives

On October 12, 2024, at Rava Winery, we gathered for the 4th Annual Evening of Dreams to benefit the Zozu Project. This evening is more than just a fundraiser—it’s an opportunity to make an impactful difference in the lives of children in Arua, Uganda.

Every child deserves access to quality education and the chance to dream of a brighter future. Yet, for many in Arua, poverty, conflict, and a lack of essential resources create barriers that prevent this from becoming a reality. That’s where the Zozu Project comes in.

Through your generous support, we can provide each sponsored child with:

A private school education that equips them with the skills and knowledge to break the cycle of poverty.
In primary school, they are fed two meals daily; in secondary school, they are fed three, ensuring they are nourished and ready to learn.
Access to full-time medical care to safeguard their health and well-being.
Weekend tutoring and additional instruction to help them thrive academically.
For older students, boarding and housing for teachers create a nurturing environment that helps them succeed.

The Challenge We Face

Many children in Arua still lack access to education due to financial hardship. Each new school year brings 50 new preschool students who are in need of a sponsor. Sponsorship provides a child with private school education, daily meals, medical care, and more. But we cannot do this without your help.
