This past year NAHJ:

Awarded over $96,000 in student scholarships
Offered two free Student Summits at Columbia Journalism School in New York City and Northwestern University in Chicago for over 150+ students
Created the Student Newscast giving student journalists a platform to showcase their work and build their portfolios.
Launched student chapter grants to provide financial support and help sustain campus organizing efforts.
Offered a week-long hands-on training for student journalists, The Latino Reporter.
