At the Lakeland Police Foundation, Inc., we believe in inspiring future leaders. Through our support of the Lakeland Police Department’s Police Explorer Program, our current Explorer Advisors help guide young people who are interested in careers in law enforcement—youth who are learning firsthand the values of service, leadership, and community responsibility.

Each week, these Explorers dedicate their time to training alongside Lakeland Police Department Advisors. They volunteer at community events, participate in regional competitions, and represent the City of Lakeland with pride. For many, the Explorer Program is the first step on a lifelong journey toward a career in public service.

As the program continues to grow, so does the need for safe and reliable transportation. That’s why the Lakeland Police Foundation is launching the Police Explorer Vehicle Campaign—a community initiative to acquire a Ford Transit 15 Passenger Extended Van to transport these young leaders to training events, community projects, and educational opportunities throughout Florida and beyond.

We are reaching out to the Lakeland Community to ask for your help in making this vision a reality. By joining us as a donor, you will help support our Police Explorer Vehicle Campaign which fuels the next generation of leaders who will serve and protect our community. We are asking local residents, businesses, and supporters to join in funding the cost to aquire and wrap the vehicle in Explorer graphics.

This campaign represents more than the acquisition of a vehicle—it is an investment in young people who are learning the value of public service, leadership, and integrity through the Police Explorer Program. Together, we can ensure that these young men and women have the transportation, tools and opportunities they need to succeed.
