Future Anglers of Minnesota Presents: Free Kids Fishing Seminar!

Location: Lord Fletcher's Old Lake Lodge – Banquet Room, Lake Minnetonka

Join Future Anglers of Minnesota in partnership with Little Wilderness Co. at the annual Lake Minnetonka Crappie Contest hosted by Memories Made Outdoors for an exciting, hands-on fishing seminar designed just for kids!

This event features expert insights and fishing tips and some fun activities from renowned anglers, including:

Angie Londgren (Little Wilderness co)
Tom Huynh (NWT Pro Angler)
John Hoyer (NWT Pro Angler)
MN DNR (AIS & Water Safety)
Adam Griffith (Crappie Chronicles)

Each registered child will receive a FREE rod and reel combo, generously provided by Future Angler Foundation and Wildlife Forever, to kick-start their fishing adventures.

This engaging seminar will cover:

Essential fishing skills and techniques
Hands on lure painting and activities
Conservation practices and how kids can contribute
Boater safety to keep everyone safe on the water
Fun fishing stories and Q&A sessions with our pros

Whether your child is new to fishing or already hooked, this event promises fun, education, and memories on beautiful Lake Minnetonka.

Spaces are limited – register early to secure your spot!

This seminar will happen during the festivities of the Lake Minnetonka Crappie Contest. You are welcome to register to fish in the contest which starts at 6am. PLEASE plan to be at the seminar from 11am - 2pm if you are registering as space is limited and last min registration will not be available.
