We've almost made it through 2025 - and what a year! As an organization, we spent the first half of the year fighting for cancelled Federal funds, and advocating for equity, keeping our communities safe, and our right to free expression. With every destabilizing action, we have held on to our values, our loved ones, and our vision that as artists, we can create a future that cares for each living being.

This administration has been clear that they seek to dismantle cultural freedoms. Yes, our organization and our community has been impacted by the changes taking place in our society. Yes, we have made tough decisions about what funding we choose to accept and any consequences we face when are loud about our support of marginalized folks.

With everything going on, we believe in the power of art. As humans, we are creative beings - we are all artists. As artists, we can create a collectively thriving future. Our young artists are the bravest visionaries who will lead us there. Your support builds this creative community.
