Healing to the People Summit Convening: A Gathering of Healers, Leaders, and Change-Makers

Location: Ed Roberts Campus (3075 Adeline St, Berkeley, CA 94703)

Who: The Summit will be attended by individuals and collectives who are committed to holistic, whole-person healing across multiple disciplines. This includes on-the-ground community organizers, health professionals, medical schools, complementary medicine practitioners (acupuncture, massage, traditional Chinese medicine), food justice advocates, artists, farmers, mutual aid groups, and many others from across the globe.

What: This convening will feature keynote speakers, community panels, roundtable discussions, workshops, healing and wellbeing marketplace, and community experiences designed to foster connection, innovation, and shared learning.

Why: At FCC, we believe in a health paradigm that honors mind, body, spirit, culture, and social justice. By blending ancestral wisdom with the strengths of Western medicines we aim to challenge the profit-centered models that dominate healthcare. The Summit is a critical step in building a health movement rooted in community and culture.

Community Sliding Scale Pricing Model

Our pricing structure for the Healing to the People Summit Convening is designed to create equitable access to whole-person healing resources and interdisciplinary connection while recognizing diverse financial circumstances. We invite you to select the tier that honestly reflects your financial situation, acknowledging that those with greater resources help subsidize access for community members facing financial barriers. Please note that our prices will increase after August 7, 2025 as Early Bird offerings will be closed.

Pricing Tiers

Special Ticket for Students ($25)

For community members who are currently in school (K-12, College & University):

If you are an educator and hoping to bring a group of students and would like to purchase bulk tickets, please reach out to Diana Tran at diana@freedomcommunityclinic.org.

Tier 1: Community Access ($50-67)

For community members with limited access to wealth (generally those who cannot afford to eat out regularly or travel frequently, are working class, people without savings, and those who’ve been systematically disadvantaged especially BIPOC, youth, and folx with disabilities):

Are currently unemployed, underemployed, or working in low-wage positions
Have limited or no savings to draw from
Are supporting multiple dependents on a limited income
Are young people (under 25) without substantial financial resources
Are paying entirely out-of-pocket with no institutional support

Tier 2: Reduced Rate ($75-100)

For community members with lower access to wealth:

Have steady but modest income that primarily covers essential needs
Have minimal savings or financial safety net
May be paying out-of-pocket with some strain on personal finances
Are students or early-career professionals without institutional support
May have inconsistent income or freelance work

Tier 3: Supporter Rate ($100-133)

For community members with medium access to wealth:

Have stable employment with consistent income above basic needs
Have some access to savings or financial security
May have partial financial support from an employer or institution
Can afford some personal development investments without significant hardship
Have modest discretionary income

Tier 4: Sustainer Rate ($150-200)

For community members who have higher access to wealth (generally those who can afford to eat out regularly, travel, are middle class, upper/owning class, anyone with an inheritance, investments, and/or some degree of retirement savings, those who have been systematically advantaged):

Have secure employment with comfortable income
Have access to savings and financial stability
Have full or substantial employer/institutional financial support
Can make investments in personal development without financial strain
Have consistent disposable income and wealth access

Tier 5: Community Abundance ($300-400)

For community members who have higher access to wealth and would like to pay it forward:

Have substantial financial resources, wealth access, or institutional backing
Recognize their economic privilege and wish to actively redistribute resources
Want to directly sponsor the participation of community members with less access to wealth
Believe in the transformative power of making whole-person healing spaces accessible to all
Are committed to building collective community wealth and well-being
Each Tier 5 ticket directly funds scholarship access for those most impacted by financial barriers

Additional Considerations

Pay What You Can Philosophy: Choose the tier that honestly reflects your access to resources. If you can afford a higher tier, your contribution directly supports community members with less financial access.
Employer Support: If your attendance is funded by an employer, organization, or institution, please select Tier 3 or 4. This helps us reserve lower-cost tickets for those paying out-of-pocket.
Reciprocity: Our sliding scale model reflects our commitment to reciprocity and collective care, centering the needs of Black, Brown, Indigenous, and Immigrant communities of the Bay Area.
