Estacada High School Performing Arts Department

Estacada High School is a class 4A school and contains approximately 500 students. Though a smaller school, it includes a comprehensive performing arts program. The performing arts department at EHS consists of Concert Band, Jazz Band, Concert Choir, Mixed Choir, Ranger Choir, Piano, Guitar, Music Theory, Musical Theatre, Stagecraft, Theatre Production, and Drama. The primary goal of the performing arts program is to inspire students to love music and theatre, to seek excellence in all performances, and to provide our community with high-quality entertainment.

In the past 30 years, the performing arts program has produced over 25 Broadway-style musicals, toured to Disneyland 14 times, and been selected to compete at the state contest for the past 25 years. Theatre students have been selected to compete at the international level in 2023 and 2024. The vocal and instrumental programs are award-winning, and most recently, the Concert choir and Jazz band placed 2nd in the state in 2024. The program boasts many alumni who have gone on to have professional careers in music, teaching, composition, and theatre. Equally as important are our alumni, who have used the skills learned in their music and theatre classes to perform in their chosen profession.
