Members of the Michigan Oral History Association will present a 1/2 day workshop on Monday, September 22nd from 1-4pm. Benzie County has such a rich history, WUWU and the Benzie Area Historical Society are interested in capturing stories and memories from folks that have a long history in the area.

The workshop will cover preparing for the interview, asking quality questions, creating release forms, transcribing, using interviews, conducting interviews remotely, and archiving.

Each participant will receive:
1. One-year membership in MOHA ($25)
2. “A Guide for Doing Successful Oral Histories” Booklet
3. Michigan Oral History Association’s quarterly newsletter

Interviews will be broadcast on WUWU Community Radio and archived in the digital library at the Benzie Museum.
