The FCWA Immigration Rapid Response Fund has been active since 2019, making small grants up to $7,500 to our members for their work defending immigrant communities, and up to $2,000 for individuals in our members' networks who have been swept up in the deportation machine.

So far in 2025, we've distributed $96,000 to support individuals and organizations in Arkansas, California, Florida, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Oregon, Vermont, and Washington.

Funds for individuals have gone toward legal fees, bail costs, commissary funds, emergency housing, and travel costs for individuals who were deported back to their home country with nothing.

Funds for member groups have supported Know Your Rights trainings, community hotlines, organizing, and mutual aid networks.

We have $134,000 remaining in this fund, but requests are still coming in and we don't know how much worse this crisis will get.
