In Afghanistan, girls are told NO.
NO to school.
NO to opportunity.
NO to freedom.

But they keep FIGHTING.

Forward International Academy (FIA) is an international school providing American education to middle and high school students around the world regardless of their circumstances.

Today, FIA serves students from Afghanistan, Algeria, China, Nigeria, Pakistan, Portugal, and Ukraine. Upon graduation, our students earn an American high school diploma, opening pathways to universities in the U.S. and beyond.

For this fundraising campaign, we are focusing on one of the countries we proudly serve: AFGHANISTAN.

Government restrictions ban Afghan girls from schooling beyond 6th grade. At FIA, we believe every girl deserves a chance to learn, so we have partnered with local institutions and non-profit organizations in Afghanistan to provide approved and safe educational opportunities.

With 90% of the population living below the poverty line, paying $100 for school is impossible.
