Its finally here - LDC's first community field trip of 2025!
Join us for a creative day as we tour several new and incredible art installations at the Flint Institute of Arts in recognition of Black History Month! Exhibitions will include: "Cliff Joseph and the Power of Art", "Romare Bearden: Artist as Activist and Visionary" and "We Loved the Swag: From Black Bottom Until Now". Following our guided tour at the Museum, we will have lunch together at Spectacular Spudz, an inspired local restaurant committed to the Flint community. Our event itinerary:

10:00 am - Arrive at Cleary University
10:15 am - Travel on the Cleary vans to the Flint Institute of Arts
11:00 am - Guided tour and gift shop at the FIA
1:00 pm - Lunch at Spectacular Spudz
2:15 pm - Travel back to Cleary

Ticket Cost: $25 - includes museum entry, docent fee for guided tour, snacks & transportation. Attendees will select and pay for their own lunch. Only 30 tickets available
