Founded in 1975, the University of Florida Women's Rugby Club has become a successful program playing competitive rugby in Division I. In 2023, UF Women earned the state title in Florida and traveled to North Carolina to beat NC State 14-12 in the quarterfinal of the National Playoffs. Unfortunately, Florida fell to Virginia in the semifinal the next day, but the team more than proved that they deserve to compete there!

This year, Women's Rugby Club is even stronger with great numbers, a great work ethic, and a winning attitude. The goal is to take the Regional Championship in North Carolina in April and travel to Houston for the National Championship in May.

The University of Florida Men’s Rugby Football Club is where students come together to play rugby, win games, and create a shared bond that will last for decades. Founded in 1969, the team has a long history of success both on and off the field. On the field, the Gators have won hardware in fifteens and sevens time and time again. The most recent state title was at the FCC 7s in November, which earned the team a bid at CRC 7s in Washington!

This spring will see the club fighting for the FCC 15s state title against the other universities in the recently expanded conference. Off the field, the young men of the UFRFC have spent countless hours volunteering for different causes and communities over the years and have publicly represented the club to the highest standard. With help from alumni, donors, and boosters, UF Men’s Rugby is able to continue to have the opportunity to play this great sport for all students.
