As a mom and a healthcare provider, not knowing much about this disease until it robbed me of so much and still continues to hold on with a tight grip, my strength and determination to fight this storm everyday for myself and those affected by this disease will continue. Until you live it or have a loved one affected by it, no one will truly understand the battle those of us with lupus deal with everyday. Looks are deceiving. I would like to invite anyone who is interested in helping raise awareness by joining me on the Lupus walk September 11th or by donating to further promote research.
