In honor of a remarkable milestone—Monica Jones’ 40th birthday—we are raising funds to support this vital project while also establishing a queer fitness gym focused on community safety and holistic wellness.

Why We Are Here:

The driving force behind this initiative is a deep commitment to safety and support for the trans community. This retreat aims to provide a safe haven for trans individuals, particularly those who, like Monica Jones, encounter transphobia even in spaces meant for advocacy, such as at the 2024 International AIDS conference, where men attempted to physically intimidate Monica, yelling and shouting at her in the lobby. Monica’s courageous spirit inspires us all to fight against systemic oppression, and through this retreat, we seek to uplift those who are facing burnout and emotional exhaustion.

What’s in Store:

- Outlaw T-Shirts: Our exclusive t-shirts will feature the names of Queer & POC outlaws, each purchase serving as a statement of solidarity and support for our community.
  
- Community Events: We will host various events where attendees can contribute to our Givebutter campaign. These gatherings will not only provide opportunities for donation but also foster a sense of connection and solidarity among participants.

- Artistic Engagement: The campaign will showcase powerful photographic art featuring Monica, reflecting her journey through pain and rage. These pieces remind us that love exists even in struggle and create a deeper connection to our mission.
