Help food-insecure families enjoy a Thanksgiving meal!

Changing leaves and cooler weather mean the start of the holiday season — a time for family, festive gatherings, and tables filled with food. But for many of our neighbors facing food insecurity, this time of year bring the uncertainty of where the next meal will come from.

You can help ease the burden on families in need by contributing to this year’s Thanksgiving FRESH Food Drive.

We need to raise $10,000* by November 25th to provide fresh, local produce to as many of our neighbors as possible — can we count on you to make a gift today?

A $5 contribution buys a Thanksgiving meal for one person
A $25 contribution provides Thanksgiving meals for a family of four
A $50 contribution provides Thanksgiving meals for two families
A $100 contribution allows four families to enjoy a Thanksgiving meal
A $500 contribution supports the purchase of fresh food to feed 20 families on Thanksgiving

Since 2010 when our first FRESH Food Drive kicked off, we've come together as a community to provide fresh, nutritious food for neighbors in need. Let's continue to embody the spirit of the holidays while building a future in which everyone in the DMV has an equal opportunity to stay healthy and thrive.
