At Farm School NYC, we center Queer and Trans, Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (QTBIPOC) leadership and promote food dignity, racial and environmental justice, and regenerative urban agriculture. Our full community is equipped to protect both people and the planet and respond adequately to the needs of our ecosystems. Our mission is to train NYC residents in urban agriculture, build self-reliant communities, and inspire positive local action around food sovereignty, social, economic, and racial justice.

we have made possible over $100,000 in scholarships;
inspired the development of over 15 innovative QT-BIPOC-led food justice projects enhancing our food ecosystems throughout the City and State; and
sustained space for healing from academic trauma for students, faculty and staff.
