✨ It all began in the fall of 2019, when our amazing event coordinator, Kate Wagner, envisioned a joyful gathering for Golden lovers—and it was an instant success! What started as a one-time meet-up quickly blossomed into a beloved tradition, bringing together adopters, fosters, volunteers, GGRLC friends, and of course, our Goldens, every Spring and Fall. With just a brief pause in 2020, we returned stronger than ever.

🎉 We’re excited to share that the Fall 2025 GGR Low Country Golden Retriever Meet-Up will be our 10th one—a big milestone for our rescue family! We’re hoping for a great turnout and can’t wait to celebrate with you.

🌳 Join us outside under the shade trees for good company, cold craft beer from Hobcaw Brewing Co., tasty bites from a local food truck, and a fun raffle with awesome prizes. Some of our adoptable Goldens will be there too, hoping to meet their forever families. 🐾

Grateful Goldens Rescue of the Low Country (GGRLC) is a volunteer-run, nonprofit group dedicated to finding loving homes for unwanted, abused, or neglected Goldens. Since starting in 2004, we’ve rescued over 2,500 dogs across Coastal South Carolina.

We’re proud to have been awarded the 2024 Top-Rated Nonprofit status thanks to the trust and support of our adopters, donors, and volunteers and have earned the Gold Seal of Transparency from CandidDot.org.
