Maternal Matters Favored (MMF) is dedicated to empowering, supporting, and saving the lives of birthing and non-birthing parents as they navigate the challenges of perinatal and postpartum mental health. Our mission is simple but powerful: to ensure no parent walks this journey alone.

Through direct support, culturally competent care navigation, therapeutic services, and access to critical wellness resources, MMF uplifts mothers and families during one of the most vulnerable times in their lives.

Our Goal: Raise $25,000 in 2025

Your contribution to MMF’s General Support Fund strengthens our daily operations and ensures we can continue to:

Provide scholarships for therapy and mental health services
Distribute basic needs support for mothers and babies
Facilitate peer mentoring, wellness check-ins, and parenting workshops
Expand community programs like the T.H.R.I.V.E. and F.A.I.T.H. models

More than 10% of fathers suffer from depression and anxiety during the perinatal period.
Latinx families are disproportionately affected by PMADs and less likely to receive culturally responsive care.
60% of birthing individuals with perinatal depression have a prior history of mental health conditions.
