We'll then adjourn for ice cream and a discussion of his talk. Parking is free. Please arrive no later than 11:45 am to get signed in and seated. Capacity is limited to the first 40 who register.

Lewis Cohen, MD is a professor emeritus of Psychiatry at Tufts University and a Palliative Medicine researcher, who has received numerous literary and academic honours. Dr. Cohen’s latest book is Winter’s End: Dementia and Dying Well – Oxford University Press (July 15, 2024). He is invited to the UCSD Medical School to deliver Medical Grand Rounds on the subject of Death and Dementia. Dr. Cohen will be giving UCSD's second annual Faye Girsh Endowed Lecture on Medical Aid in Dying.
