Please note that field trips are available exclusively to registered participants of the BirdsCaribbean 25th International Conference. If you haven’t registered yet, please visit our Registration page before signing up for a field trip.

Important Information

All attendees must first register individually in Whova (either with direct payment or by selecting the Alternative Payment Method Ticket).
Each ticket must correspond to one registered attendee.
If you wish to purchase multiple field trip tickets, please enter the full name, phone number, and email for each attendee in the required fields so we can match payments to registrations.
Payments that cannot be matched to a Whova registration may delay confirmation.
For multi-day field trips, participants must select either single or double occupancy. Please note that single rooms are subject to availability and, if not available, you may be required to share a room.

Field Trip Rules, Terms, and Legal Conditions

Only persons registered to attend the BirdsCaribbean 2026 Conference are eligible to sign up for one of our pre, post, or mid-conference field trips.
Participants agree to indemnify BirdsCaribbean, HADCO Experiences, and the Ministry, and their representatives, from any and all third-party liability for any injuries, loss, claim, action, demand, or damage of any kind arising from or in connection with participating in one of our field trips. Participants are required to sign a liability release form.
BirdsCaribbean reserves the right to adjust the price of the tour if there is an unexpected increase in costs, or if the tour is not filled to a minimum capacity.
BirdsCaribbean reserves the right to adjust the tour itinerary if unexpected circumstances warrant a change. Every effort will be made to provide a similar high-quality experience.
In case of cancellation by BirdsCaribbean, all deposits and payments will be refunded (less a $30 processing fee).
If you cancel your reservation more than 30 days prior to the tour, you will receive a 50% refund of the fees paid. If you cancel less than 30 days prior to the tour, payments are non-refundable, unless you can fill your space with another participant.
We recommend that you purchase trip insurance in case of emergency or if you need to cancel your trip before or during the tour.
