It is with a heavy heart, and also with deep gratitude, that we share an important update about Queens Arise.

Since 2021, the Queens has been committed to educating, training, and mentoring survivors of human trafficking, helping them build skills that they can use to build a future of life-long financial independence.

Due to challenges with funding, we will be winding down operations, with our final day being June 30. This has been an incredibly difficult decision, and one we made after carefully exploring every possible path forward.

Because of your support, Queens Arise has been able to walk alongside survivors as they rebuild their lives and move toward independence. That work has mattered. It still matters.

Why We’re Asking for Your Help

We are committed to finishing well.

Over the next few months, our focus is on the women currently in our program. We are working to ensure they have the support they need to complete their training, continue their progress, and take their next steps toward employment and stability.

We need to raise $40,000 to cover essential program expenses through the end of June and ensure these women are fully supported.

Weekly Learning Labs and mentorship
Resume, cover letter, and job application support
Direct guidance as students move into employment
