Thank you for registering for our Flatirons Loop History Hike.

This email is long, but please read it, for important information for you to know before the hike.

Please be prepared for hiking in August and possible warm weather. Bring water, and a snack, since the hike is 2 hours long. It's a good idea to bring a jacket also, in case of afternoon showers.

Miles: about 3. Elevation gain: about 700 feet (up and down). Good hiking shoes are important.

Come early to find a parking spot. The parking meters and free shuttle end at 5:00, but it can be crowded, so please plan accordingly. I will be in front of the Chautauqua Dining Hall, on the patio below the stairs, at 5:15 pm.

The Dining Hall address is 900 Baseline Rd., in Boulder. Please don't go to the Ranger Cottage or Chautauqua Lodging Office. All those buildings have the same address (900 Baseline Rd.) so you need to find the Dining Hall.
