This year I’m bike riding in Ireland from Dublin to Kinsale with 40 FDNY cyclists and 40 of Ireland’s firefighters to honor those lost on 9/11 and those we have since lost from 9/11-related illnesses.  

This ride starts on September 9th and finishes on September 11th with a ceremony in Kinsale at the Ringfinnan Garden of Remembrance. Each tree in the Ringfinnan Garden of Remembrance bears the name of firefighters who died on 9/11. 

Friends of Firefighters is a 501(c)3 not-for-profit organization that provides independent, confidential, and free mental health counseling and wellness services to active and retired FDNY firefighters and their family members.
