For the past 6 years, Dream Foundry has brought you Flights of Foundry, 60 straight hours jam-packed with fabulous programming. We did it while prioritizing accessibility and removing fiscal and physical barriers in order to bring together attendees from around the world. You've rewarded us with attendance year after year, and our work has been honored with the Ignyte Community Award.

And we've done it on a shoestring.

Shoestrings fray, and our platform situation is no exception. You don't love Webex. We don't love Webex. It's buggy, inconsistent, and unstable. But it's also the only platform that does what we need on our current budget. So, let's change the budget!

If we hit our funding goal, you’ll get a platform designed for virtual conferences. That means an integrated registration workflow, calendar support, and (probably) instant replay on panels after they happen, all while keeping the accessibility features we require to keep our commitments to you. If we fall short, we're still going to push for an upgrade, we'll just have to get creative.

Times are rough and there are lots of good places to send your money. Give what you can. If you don't have spare cash, help us spread the word on social media. Either way, keep an eye on this space. We have goodies planned as we hit milestones along the way.
