Or Shalom is joining with Jews For Food Aid For People In Gaza for its High Holidays Tzedakah Campaign, which aims to raise $180,000 for the Gaza Soup Kitchen before Yom Kippur. The cost of the Gaza Soup Kitchen’s operations is $15,000 per day to run seven kitchens throughout Gaza. This Tzedakah Campaign will ensure their kitchens are functional every day of Aseret Yimei Teshuvah, the Ten Days of Repentance, between Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur.
