If you know me at all, you know I will buy and do all the things to protect my people. Pass the bubble wrap, schedule the check-up, limit the screen time, slather on sunscreen, rear-face until you're 100, google the symptoms, buy all the helmets, and research all.the.things.
But how do I protect my family, friends, and community from the things that no one wants to talk about because they're too scary, too messy, too that-only-happens-to-other-people? 1 in 7 kids experience child abuse/neglect...that's nearly 9,000 kids in our local community!
