We are excited to host the second For the Love of Pete Charity Fundraiser to help raise money for the Peter J. Frasso, Jr. Music Scholarship.

The scholarship was established in memory of Pete, who suddenly and unexpectedly passed away on January 6, 2021, just months before the birth of his first child, Piper.

Pete was a talented musician whose love of music shaped both his education and his career. He played the tuba throughout middle and high school before joining the University of Notre Dame Marching Band. After earning his degree in music from Notre Dame, he continued his studies at VanderCook College of Music, where he pursued a graduate degree in music education. Pete taught middle and high school music in Indiana for several years before returning to his native Massachusetts and settling in Haverhill.

We created this scholarship to honor Pete's passion for music, his dedication to education, and the generous spirit that touched everyone who knew him. Since 2021, we have awarded scholarships to multiple Haverhill High School graduates, and with your support, we hope to continue providing a four-year scholarship to deserving students for many years to come.

We hope you'll join us on Friday, October 2 for an evening of silent auctions, music, raffles, and, most importantly, community as we celebrate Pete's life and help future generations of students pursue their passion for music.
