Forest Grove hasn’t had a community fireworks show in years and our summer nights just haven’t been the same. The 4th of July is about more than fireworks; it’s about neighbors gathering in the park, kids waving glow sticks, and families sharing a moment of pure joy under the night sky.

We want to bring that magic back in 2026 but we can only do it together.

The truth is… fireworks aren’t the only cost.
The fireworks company alone is $20,000 but to make this event safe, fun, and legal, we also need to cover:

Permits & insurance – Required by the city and state
Portable restrooms – So everyone can enjoy the show comfortably
Event equipment – Lighting, sound, fencing, and crowd control
Staff & volunteers – For setup, cleanup, and safety support

When it’s all added up, the total cost is over $25,000.
