We are experiencing a kitten pandemic.

Tens of thousands of kittens will be born in your city this year and find themselves homeless on the streets or in the shelter. The shelters can't handle the masses of kittens so those tens of thousands of kittens will most likely be euthanized, especially if they are under 5 weeks and orphaned. This is not the fault of the shelters. Shelters' usually do not have the space or resources to provide the around the clock care these orphan kittens need. This is where we come in.

Orphan kittens are especially vulnerable and rely on fosters to provide the proper care they need to survive before they get to find their adopting families. This includes a number of tasks such as:

Opening up their homes and providing a safe space for these litters with a heat source and blankets.
Bottle feeding from 0-5 weeks of age every 2-3 hours.
Stimulating them to use the restroom.
Keeping them cleaned and groomed until they can do it themselves.
Providing all necessary veterinary care.
Weaning them from the bottle to food.
Training them to use the litter box.
Getting all their vaccines, testing, and spay or neutering done.
Finding them a safe home to spend the rest of their lives in.

This list continues but these are some core things involved with foster care. It keeps us busy and on our toes but we are passionate about rescuing.

Our goal is to see a global change in the number of animals facing euthanasia due to homelessness and not being wanted. Saving these tiny felines ensures not only their safety, but that they will never be able to contribute to the kitten crisis by being spayed or neutered. This means one less cat will be facing death row in a shelter or homeless on the streets.
