🎶 Songs & Stories: Fostering Roots Benefit

Music has always helped us carry what is too heavy to carry alone.

Songs & Stories is an intimate songwriter experience at Ott Vineyards bringing Nashville hit songwriters, local artists, caregivers, and community together for one purpose: to care for the people who are caring for our foster communities.

Throughout the day, acclaimed Nashville songwriters will share the songs you know and the stories behind them. Their work has been recorded by artists including Keith Urban, Tim McGraw, Toby Keith, Joe Nichols, Montgomery Gentry, Randy Houser, Jason Aldean, Jimmy Wayne, Lonestar, and others.

Dawn Loves Nash will share original music, joined by special guests Tom Blake and Travis Bowlin, 2025 Josie Music Award Artist of the Year — Jazz & Blues.

There will also be live painting, silent and live auctions, raffles, and opportunities for the community to participate directly in the care being offered.

But the music is what brings us together.

The caregivers are why we are here.

This benefit supports Fostering Roots, a caregiving program of Roots Thrift serving foster families throughout Gilmer, Fannin, and Pickens counties in North Georgia.

Foster families say yes to something most of us will never fully see. They open their homes, rearrange their lives, and create safety for children who need somewhere to land.

The question is simple:

Who cares for the caregivers?

For this day, we do.

Proceeds help Fostering Roots provide practical and emotional support to foster families in our community—strengthening the people who have chosen to hold space for children when they need it most.

Songs & Stories is hosted by Ott Vineyards and presented by Traveling Caregivers Ministries, SSM, a sacred service ministry devoted to caring for caregivers through music, presence, and community.

This isn’t only a concert.

It’s a community choosing to notice.
