Most of our past fundraisers have been urgent and reactive — helping dogs like Ash, Violet, or Chanel escape euthanasia with just hours to spare. We’ll always fight for dogs in crisis.

There are so many dogs still sitting in LA city shelters — some with adopters who are overwhelmed and under-resourced. Others are in LAAS “foster” homes with zero support. Many are one step away from being returned, or worse, left behind. And we know this crisis is only going to get worse with shelter layoffs, budget cuts, and closures looming.

We can’t just fund emergencies anymore.

We need to fund prevention.
