Why We Exist

Freedom Pending was created because injustice isn’t abstract — it has names and faces. We’ve seen it up close:

Ladavious McNair – Wrongfully accused in Atlanta; charges dropped after public attention.
Mahendra Patel – Charges dismissed when awareness shifted his case.
ICE Raids in Atlanta – Our campaigns helped slow raids that were tearing families apart.

• Legal Fees: Helping cover attorney costs so people aren’t forced to fight the system alone.

• Community Action: Documenting these stories, pulling up to the jails, and making sure the community knows that freedom delayed is freedom denied.
