Establishing the Patient-Centered Foundation for Adrenal Care

The Global Adrenal Testing Consortium (GATC) is a nonprofit organization (501(c)(3) status pending) launching the first patient-led, national effort to redefine how Adrenal Insufficiency research is conducted. For too long, research has focused on technological feasibility; it is time to focus on meaningful patient impact.

Our $125,000 Goal: Building the National Research Framework

We are raising $125,000 to host a year-long National Research Convening. This initiative brings together patients, caregivers, clinicians, and researchers to establish a structured, patient-majority framework that will guide all future clinical effectiveness research in Adrenal Insufficiency.

Your donation fuels the "National Engine" of adrenal advocacy. It funds:

  • National Project Leadership: 12 months of dedicated oversight to manage our dual Clinical and Engineering committees and maintain our transition into a permanent 501(c)(3) institution.

  • Expert Facilitation & Consensus: Professional data synthesis to translate patient lived experience into a formal Outcome Priority Framework that medical institutions and researchers can use.

  • Patient Engagement Support: Providing the honoraria and accessible materials needed to ensure a diverse, representative group of patients and caregivers can lead this convening.

  • Research Infrastructure: Securing the virtual platforms and administrative oversight required to manage a network of over 1,000 stakeholders with total transparency and compliance.

The Roadmap: What Your Support Delivers

  • $35,000 (The Patient Voice): Activates our national network and ensures patients and caregivers represent the majority in all prioritization activities.

  • $70,000 (The Consensus Engine): Covers the technical facilitation and data synthesis needed to turn raw feedback into a Clinical Research Question Set.

  • $100,000 (The National Standard): Finalizes the Patient-Centered Outcome Priority Frameworkβ€”the document that tells the scientific community exactly what to measure.

  • $125,000 (The Full Mission): Provides the complete year of operational runway, stakeholder travel, and the Sustainability Roadmap to ensure GATC remains a permanent leader in adrenal health.

Why Now?

Scientific advances in cortisol detection are emerging rapidly. Without a patient-prioritized framework, we risk another decade of research that misses the mark on quality of life and crisis prevention.

We are not just asking for a donation; we are asking you to fund the foundation of a new era in adrenal health.

πŸ‘‰ Donate today to help us build the future of adrenal research.
