FUND THE RIDE. GIVE SKILLS FOR LIFE.

Your Gift Goes Beyond the Bike.

A bike can take a young person much further than the miles they ride.

For more than three decades, Trips for Kids Bay Area has used the bicycle as a powerful tool to create opportunities for young people throughout the Bay Area. What started with the simple idea of getting kids outdoors and onto bikes has grown into programs that combine cycling, outdoor exploration, bike education, mentorship, and hands-on learning.

Through trail rides, bike programs, and opportunities to learn how to maintain and care for a bicycle, young people develop confidence, independence, responsibility, practical skills, healthy habits, and a stronger connection to their communities and the outdoors.

The bike may be where the journey begins, but the skills and experiences young people gain can stay with them for life.

Our Goal: $25,000 in 13 Days

From October 19–31, 2026, we're bringing our community together with one goal: raise $25,000 to help Trips for Kids Bay Area continue creating opportunities for young people through cycling.

Your contribution helps make it possible for young people to:

Ride & Explore — Experience cycling and the outdoors.
Learn — Develop bike safety, riding, and maintenance skills.
Grow — Build confidence, independence, and resilience.
Connect — Create relationships with peers, mentors, and their community.

Every gift—large or small—helps us move closer to our $25,000 goal and put more resources directly into programs serving Bay Area youth.

Give More Than Money

There are many ways to make a difference.

Businesses and community partners can support the campaign through in-kind donations of products, services, equipment, or other resources. Recognition is available based on the value of the contribution.

You can also give a bicycle or cycling equipment a second life. Donated bikes, gear, parts, and other cycling resources can help support the work of Trips for Kids Bay Area and put more resources back into our programs.

In-kind bike and cycling equipment donations can be dropped off at the ReCyclery:
Address: 610 4th St, San Rafael, CA 94901
Phone: (415) 458-2986

Whether you make a financial gift, become a sponsor, contribute products or services, donate cycling equipment, or simply share this campaign with your community, your support goes beyond the bike.

Help Us Reach $25,000

For 13 days, we're asking our community to come together around one goal: creating more opportunities for young people to ride, explore, learn, grow, and connect.

Because a bicycle can be more than transportation.

It can be freedom. Confidence. Independence. Responsibility. Community. Adventure. And a new set of skills that can last a lifetime.
