From the Rubble of Disaster to the Roots of Hope

Fifteen years ago, after Haiti’s devastating 2010 earthquake, Jay Bowen of Orange County, California, answered a call that changed his life. He came to help — but found instead a people whose resilience and faith transformed his own heart.

“Bring hope. Be hope. Give hope.”

Those words became the heartbeat of Plen Fleri — meaning to flourish fully.

Today, under the leadership of Pastor Rosinel (“Rosie”), that seed of vision has grown into nine thriving Vision Churches across Haiti. Through worship, education, and small business partnerships, Plen Fleri is helping communities flourish spiritually, emotionally, and economically — even where the average income is less than $5 a day.

Why Port-au-Prince, Why Now

Despite years of unrest, Pastor Rosie and his team continue to minister faithfully in neighborhoods gripped by fear and instability. Now, God has opened the door for something extraordinary — a permanent church in the heart of Port-au-Prince.

This church will serve as:
✅ A place of worship and discipleship for hundreds of families.
✅ A training center for pastors and ministry leaders.
✅ A safe haven where the light of Christ shines in Haiti’s capital.
