Renewing Your Path Weekend

Hi,

I’m (Hub) excited to have you join this year’s Renewing Your Path Weekend! Thank you for taking time to tend your own fire. When we pause to reflect on our lives and notice what’s moving within us, we step forward with greater clarity and power. I’m really looking forward to spending the weekend with you.

Weekend Details

Where:
Camp Holiday Trails
400 Holiday Trails Ln, Charlottesville, VA 22903

Follow the main camp road, keep left, and continue up the hill (past several buildings) to the end near the large pavilion. We’ll gather in a heated building, though you’re welcome to step outside as you wish. There’s still some snow on the ground, so plan accordingly. The driveway is plowed.

When:
-Saturday, January 3: 9:00 AM – around 5:30 PM
-Sunday, January 4: 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Please arrive around 8:30 AM so we can begin promptly at 9:00.

You’re welcome to stay onsite Saturday night to rest, hang out, or play games.

Food:
We’ll provide water, tea, and coffee throughout the weekend.
Please bring:
-Lunch for both days
-Breakfast if you’re staying overnight
-Any snacks or extras you’d like

If you stay onsite, you can cook your own meals (no stove in the building) or head into nearby Charlottesville for dining options. We have limited utensils, plates, and cups—please bring what you need.

Accommodations:
You’re welcome to stay overnight or head home. There are heated rooms with beds/bunkbeds available—just bring your own bedding.
For the adventurous, tent camping is also welcome.

What to Bring:

-Notebook or journal and pen
-Art supplies if you want to get super crafty
-Comfortable chair (there are some onsite, but bring one you love)
-Blanket (optional)
-Clothing for both indoors and outdoors
-Bedding and personal items if staying overnight

Flow of the Weekend
This weekend is about slowing down, reflecting, and reconnecting with your direction. You’ll spend time journaling with guided questions and participating in occasional group activities.

We’ll move between focused solo reflection and group sharing. Sharing is always
optional—though speaking your insights aloud can often bring greater clarity.

On the other hand, if you tend to talk a lot, consider leaving space for quieter voices. Balance is part of the practice.
