Earthen Futures Studio is a Los Angeles-based teaching and research studio dedicated to clay, textiles, visual arts and integrative healing practices; approached as living, evolving technologies. We cultivate ecological awareness, creative resilience and regenerative learning through hands-on workshops that bridge art, craft and healing.

Founded by longtime educator and artist Vanessa Ehecatl Santos (Ancient Pocket) as part of the broader Terra Heaven Eco Arts practice, EFS supports sensory inquiry, intergenerational dialogue and experimental pedagogy. Our curriculum emphasizes reciprocity, repair, and connection to land and memory, creating spaces where clay, fiber, visual and healing arts converge.

We’re raising $15,000 to stabilize operations, sustain programming, and take the next vital step toward a dedicated studio space in L.A. This initial goal covers essential supplies, workshop support and foundational studio setup. Your support will help us:

Secure and prepare our first physical studio and teaching space
