Earthen Futures Studio is not simply a studio.
It is a site of inquiry.

A working laboratory where clay, fiber, pigment, sound and healing practices are treated as living, evolving technologies.

We bring artists, students, healers and thinkers into rigorous, hands-on material engagement. Questioning inherited systems of art, education and wellness. We work at the intersection of land-based knowledge, speculative thought and embodied practice. We ask what art can do beyond aesthetics. We ask what learning can be beyond extraction. We ask what healing can be when it is enacted through making, touch and community.

This is not a hobby studio.
It is a space for experimentation, repair and practical, radical evaluation.

In a time of ecological collapse and cultural fragmentation, EFS exists to test other possibilities.

Founded by Vanessa Ehecatl Santos (Ancient Pocket) as part of Terra Heaven Eco Arts, EFS cultivates material intelligence, ecological literacy and collective agency through workshops, research-based practice and community programs.

Now we are ready to establish a permanent public site in Los Angeles.
We are raising $15,000 to stabilize operations and secure a dedicated studio: a visible, accessible space for sustained experimentation and community engagement.
