Our goal when we have a Green Amendment in place is to secure government actions and decisions that protect our environmental rights and natural resources as part of the decisionmaking process .

But there are times when we need to go to court to vindicate our environmental rights. In these situations it is important that Green Amendments For The Generations has the resources to hire the lawyers who can make the case, or that we are in a position to provide amicus briefs to communities who have taken the lead in filing a needed legal action.

Donations to this Green Amendments legal fund will be specifically designated for legal work -- either to file legal actions, to intervene in cases when needed, to file amicus briefs to support legal actions brought by impacted communities and to help them secure the outcome and legal precedent needed.
