On Tuesday, December 1, 2026, and throughout the year, the Great Careers Network (GCN) is participating in the annual global generosity movement of #GivingTuesday.

We have all been there. It sucks to not have a job and income. Some folks can't afford a career coach and turn to group training so they can get their career documents and interviewing skills in order to land a job. Without a nonprofit that provides career education, resources, support services, and networking connections to individuals, including veterans, there are people who can't get the help they need.

We serve the unemployed, the underemployed, the self-employed, and the employed, as well as the organizations (businesses and nonprofits) that may employ them.

Whenever possible, we focus on the underrepresented, those unique in entering the civilian workforce, and the disadvantaged (including minorities, gender identity populations, Veterans, and those impacted by ageism).

Why? Everyone deserves an opportunity to earn an income.

As a 501(c)(3) non-profit, the Philadelphia Area Great Careers Group (our legal entity name) is joining millions worldwide to participate in this annual fundraising initiative to inspire others to give.

GivingTuesday was launched in 2012 as a simple idea: to create a day that encourages people to do good. Since its origination, this idea has grown into a global movement that inspires hundreds of millions of people to give, collaborate, and celebrate generosity.
