Join us on July 11 from 5-9 pm for a ticked very special Opening Day celebration and exhibition preview, complete with food, drink, music and giveaways. Art Center members get first crack at tickets. Special daily programs will take place from July 12-16 in concert with Dead & Company’s final shows at Oracle Park in SF.

Story
The Haight Street Art Center is honored to partner with prolific pop culture photographer Jay Blakesberg, to co-curate an extraordinary exhibition commemorating the Grateful Dead's illustrious 30 year career through compelling photos and vintage posters from the HSAC collection.
The exhibition run debuts with a ticketed very special Opening Day celebration and exhibition preview on July 11, just ahead of the final three Dead & Company shows at Oracle Park in San Francisco. Complementary special events & programs for casual and die-hard Dead fans will take place at the Center from July 12-16 will celebrate the band’s indelible journey through the decades. Acclaimed keyboardist Scott Guberman will kick off the festivities on July 11 taking a deep dive into the Dead's anthology.

About the Haight Street Art Center
Our exhibitions serve to connect generations through visual art and storytelling rooted in San Francisco counterculture and social justice. All exhibitions are free, and open for private tours for elders and groups who benefit from a small group setting. The Haight Street Art Center provides educational programs engaging intergenerational communities through screen-printing and poster making. HSAC utilizes an on-site print studio and pop-up events to raise awareness surrounding social justice issues and build bridges within local communities including; elders, youth, historically under-represented groups, and artists.
