OUR MISSION

To support the Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park and Curecanti National Recreation Area by building awareness of the park and its needs; advocating for and supporting the scenic, recreational, fish and wildlife, ecological, geological, cultural, and historical resources of the park; and promoting the economic and educational opportunities associated with Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park.

ABOUT US

To ensure that our local national park continues to inspire and bring joy to current and future generations, we are excited to reveal the rejuvenation of the Friends of the Black Canyon and Curecanti non-profit group. One of the organization's primary goals is to spread awareness and actively engage more community members in our initiatives. By collaborating with park rangers and local volunteers, we are committed to maintaining the park's natural beauty and making necessary enhancements to help it thrive as it sees more visitors.
