The GreenHome Institute (GHI) is a nonprofit organization that has, for the last 25 years, been advancing our mission to empower people to make healthier and more sustainable choices in renovating and constructing the places we live.

In that time, we have educated 10's of 1000's of people and green-certified 1'000s of living units.

What does your donation go towards?

Education and Training | We need support to continue our weekly free CEU webinars each week on various residential green building ideas and topics, and support our professional credential trainings and education for homeowners and renters alike. This includes advancing our Certified GreenHome Professional Training.
Project Consultation Service | We need support to continue our services to guide consumers and housing professionals through new construction and renovation residential projects by helping to ensure their home/multi-unit dwelling is healthy, energy efficient, and eligible for sustainable certification through LEED, GreenStar, Enterprise Green Communities, and other green programs. Your support helps us maintain our GreenStar Homes Certification open-source manual to guide people with technical knowledge and know-how.
Public Policy | We need support to continue promoting sustainable housing through legislative and public policy evolution. Our staff and policy committee connect with legislators and policymakers to encourage the adoption of legislation and the removal of policy barriers that will lead to sustainable housing development.

You can make a one-time donation in any amount or become a sustaining donor and give any amount automatically monthly, quarterly, or yearly.

In addition, you can automatically register as a GHI member through this by contributing $135 to become an individual member or $500 to become a corporate member.
