At Granada Islamic School, we believe every child who walks through our doors belongs here — not based on what their family can afford, but based on their right to an education rooted in faith, excellence, and belonging. The Ummah Grant is how we make that promise real.

Every year, families in our community carry a quiet weight. Tuition, rent, groceries — the math doesn't always work out. And without support, some families face an impossible choice. The Ummah Grant exists so they never have to make it.

Allah ﷻ reminds us in the Quran: "Who is it that would loan Allah a goodly loan so He may multiply it for him many times over?" — Al-Baqarah 2:245.

The student you help today becomes the doctor, the teacher, the parent, the leader who gives back tomorrow. That return — in this life and the next — is incalculable.

Ramadan makes this even more meaningful. The Prophet ﷺ was the most generous of people, and even more so during Ramadan. A gift given in this month doesn't just support a family for a year — it carries the barakah of the holiest season with it. There is no better time to plant this seed.

A full sponsorship is $3,984 — one child, one full academic year. Prefer to give over time? $332/month delivers the same impact over 12 months. Can't cover a full sponsorship? A partial gift of any size joins others to complete a family's gap.

Our goal is $250,000 — enough to ensure every student who needs help this year receives it. We're asking you to be part of making that happen. Not because you have to, but because you can.
