What is the highest priority scholarship funding need?

Empowering students to succeed is our number one goal. Unrestricted, need-based scholarships are the highest priority funding need. General scholarship funds provide the flexibility to use your generosity to support City Colleges of Chicago students' most pressing financial challenges, keep them on the educational path, and reach their academic goals. Gifts of any size may be made to the fund and by joining others you are able to make significant difference right away for deserving and outstanding students who want to attend City Colleges of Chicago.

Last year, $1.2 million in scholarships were awarded, but it barely begins to address the need. During that time frame, the City Colleges of Chicago Foundation received more than 7,000 scholarship applications.
