Grand Rapids LGBTQ+ Healthcare Consortium is uniquely positioned to impact affirming healthcare accessibility and availability. We are a group of healthcare professionals and members of LGBTQ+ community united for a specific purpose: To improve healthcare access, experiences and services for LGBTQ+ people.

Here are a few examples of the impact the Grand Rapids LGBTQ+ Healthcare Consortium is making and what your donation would go towards continuing:

Since 2020 we have provided 97 "Power of Pronouns" and other trainings to community organizations and businesses.
Our Health Education Series is another avenue to information sharing featuring monthly speakers presenting on a variety of topics such as gender affirming hysterectomies, trauma informed care, and more all hosted by experts in the field.
We now have 120+ Primary Care, Behavioral Health, and Specialty Care Providers pledging themselves as being affirming and safe to the LGBTQ+ community on our Provider Directory
We launched a PrEP and HIV Toolkit designed with the community member and healthcare team in mind! This toolkit has seen 750+ visitors since its launch in September 2023 and will be featured at 2 national LGBTQ+ health conferences.
With the help of our AmeriCorps members we have compiled 310+ resources from reliable sources to address misinformation, share knowledge, and raise awareness about a variety of topics.
This year we launched a brand new mentoring program titled Med PATH Mentors to support LGBTQ+ high school students interested in entering the healthcare profession environment. This year through the generosity of our donors these mentees received $2500 in scholarship funds.
